Soft Beta
Last updated July 31, 2026

This explains what information Ashe collects, how it's used, and how you can request deletion of your data.

Who we are

Ashe (asheand.me) is operated by Ty Bennett.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Ashe beta web application and related services.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Authentication identifiers
  • Confirmation that you meet the age and location requirements
  • Records showing when you accepted the Terms

Conversation data

To provide the Ashe experience, we store information related to your conversations, including:

  • Chat messages
  • Conversation history
  • Optional reactions
  • Companion state needed to maintain continuity between conversations
  • Other information required to operate the experience

Photos and uploads

If Shelf is enabled, we store the photos and captions you choose to upload so Ashe can reference them during conversations. In the current soft beta, Shelf may be unavailable — when it is, we do not collect those uploads.

Usage information

We collect basic usage information such as conversation limits and API usage needed to operate the beta.

Technical information

Like most websites, we collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device information, and error logs. This information is used for security, reliability, and debugging.

AI processing

Your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Moonshot / Kimi) to generate Ashe's responses.

Please avoid sharing passwords, financial information, or other highly sensitive personal information in chat.

Third-party providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We send only the information needed to generate each response.

Where your data is stored

Ashe currently relies on several cloud services:

  • Supabase for authentication and database storage
  • Vercel for application hosting
  • Moonshot / Kimi for AI responses

These providers help us operate the service but only process data needed to perform their roles.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only:

  • With service providers needed to operate Ashe
  • When required by law
  • To protect the security and integrity of the service

Each Ashe account is private. Your conversations and companion are not shared with other users.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and conversation data while your beta account remains active.

Because this is an early beta, inactive accounts may eventually be removed to free capacity.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. During beta, deletion requests are handled manually and are typically completed within a few days.

Your choices

You can:

  • Choose what information you share with Ashe
  • Avoid uploading anything you aren't comfortable storing
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Stop using the service at any time

Children

Ashe is intended only for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
